About the Role

As we continue our rapid growth through a variety of channels, the Company is looking to add a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to the executive leadership team. This critical role will report to the CEO and be responsible for sales, marketing, and the Company's contact center. The role is responsible for driving and managing the growth initiatives of the Company, to include but not limited to expanding market presence, driving revenue growth, patient acquisition, and new program expansion. This key role is accountable for implementing short-term and long-term strategic sales and marketing initiatives that achieve goals and the realization of the strategic plan. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of leading sales and marketing at a multi-site healthcare provider and of working closely with clinic and regional teams to execute the sales strategy. This role requires a hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” mentality to build and manage sales / marketing infrastructure, as well as the ability to partner and advise the executive team and Board.

Key Responsibilities

Build, lead, manage

  • Build, lead, and manage high-performing teams in Sales, Marketing, and the Contact Center

  • Serve as a member of the executive leadership team, partnering and advising on strategic and operational elements of growth, e.g., patient and market insights, growth opportunities, strategies to capture growth, and execution

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and operational leaders to ensure effective execution of the Company's growth plans

  • Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision and goals Sales and marketing effectiveness

  • Achieve consistent revenue growth through pragmatic strategies, effective use of regional and clinic resources, and a focus on execution 

  • Build and embed the essential infrastructure for an effective sales organization, e.g., clearly defined roles; strong sales management and coaching; segmentation and targeting; consistent messaging; scalable processes, tools, playbooks; metrics; incentive structures to reinforce the right behaviors, etc.

  • Deploy marketing resources to the channels that drive census growth and have the highest ROI

  • Expand downstream marketing efforts to support sales resources at the regional and clinic levels, e.g., tailored, consistent messaging; tools and collateral Data, insights, strategy

  • Leverage data and analytics to develop insights into patients, referral sources, and competitors; identify and prioritize growth opportunities; develop pragmatic strategies to capture the growth

  • Take a patient-centric approach that identifies opportunities for new services, patient care enhancements, etc. to meet patient needs, improve patient retention and satisfaction, and drives growth

  • Advance strategies related to customer relationship management, reputation management, the digital footprint, brand management, etc. 

  • Establish KPIs that provide insight on the effectiveness of growth initiatives and inform decisions

Qualifications

  • Successful track record leading sales and marketing for a large, multi-site healthcare provider

  • Experience with sales model(s) that rely on clinic-level staff to cultivate referral sources and drive census growth

  • Extensive experience building the infrastructure required for an effective sales organization

  • Experience overseeing b2b and b2c multi-channel marketing with an emphasis on downstream marketing to support sales efforts at the region- and clinic-level

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels , e.g., in the field supporting regional sales management and clinics; and partnering and advising the leadership team and Board

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate high performing teams

  • Demonstrated track record of assessing market dynamics, identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities or risks, developing strategies, and partnering cross-functionally in a manner that consistently resulted in achieving growth targets

  • Experience with behavioral healthcare is a plus, but not required

  • Strong business acumen and a Bachelor’s degree in relevant area

  • Willingness to travel as needed primarily to the field
